Pteron
Pteron (Greek τὸ πτερόν, neuter - the wing ) is the area that runs around with a columned temple as the peripteros the Dipteros and the pseudodipteros to the cella ( the handling as an area where you can stay for as Peridromos is called ). The Pteron is formed by the distance between the outer boundary of the column ring ( the peristasis ) and cella wall. It offered the faithful a covered shelter near the cella wall and could also be used for ritual processions.
