Ptichka (spacecraft)

The Buran 1:02 ( GRAU index 11F35 K2) is a space shuttle of the Soviet Buran program, the externally similar to the U.S. Space Shuttle. Due to the early termination of the program there was no start.

History

The construction of Buran 1.02 was completed in 1990, although still missing a few systems. The degree of completion of the space shuttle was estimated at about 95%. She had except the name Buran 1:02 no official name was, but unofficially called Ptitschka (Russian Птичка for birds ) or Buran -2.

Planned missions

Timetable of 1989:
