The outstretched Hautsäume serve as sail area and allow the lizards, a piece move around far to slide. When gliding, they can change the direction of flight. The toes of the gecko wrinkles are equipped with wide and suckers without furrow. Also claws are present. Fold geckos have a brownish Camouflagefärbung that represents an excellent camouflage on tree bark. When resting on tree trunks, the geckos press flat against the ground, causing the body contours merge with the bark structure.
