Pua District
Amphoe Pua ( Thai อำเภอ ปัว ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of Nan Province. The Nan Province is located in the northeast of the northern region of Thailand.
Geography
Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): Amphoe Chiang the sound, Thung Chang, Chaloem Phra Kiat, Bo Kluea, Santi Suk Tha Wang Pha and. All Amphoe located in the province of Nan.
Attractions
- National Parks: Doi Phu Kha National Park ( อุทยานแห่งชาติ ดอย ภู คา ) - mountainous park with the 1980 meter high Doi Phu Kha is the highest elevation. Worth seeing are the numerous waterfalls.

Management
Amphoe Phua consists of twelve sub-districts ( tambon), which further into 104 villages ( Muban ) are divided.
There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Pua ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ปัว ) consists of the whole tambon Pua and parts of the tambon Chai Watthana Nakhon and Wora is,
- Sila Laeng ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ศิลาแลง ) consists of the whole Tambon Sila Laeng.
In addition, there are ten " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
