Public security

Public safety includes by generally accepted definition of the integrity of the legal objective, subjective rights and legal interests of individuals and the functioning of institutions and events of the state.

Public security is next to the public order. Both legal concepts were derived from the Prussian Supreme Administrative Court of paragraph 10 II 17 ALR. Leading the way this was the Kreuzberg knowledge of the Prussian Supreme Administrative Court in 1882. The paragraph in 1931, replaced towards the end of the Weimar Republic, through the police law general clause in § 14 of the Prussian Police Administration Act.

This vague legal term is used today in the police laws of the federal states in Germany in addition to the public policy regularly.

The term Public Security is often used in the context of the harmonization of information technology, networks and infrastructures of the participating institutions and organizations. This term is clearly defined for Homeland Security in the U.S., which also involves military components.
