Publius Seius Fuscianus

Publius (?) Seius Fuscianus was a Roman politician and senator.

Fuscianus came from a patrician family and was a childhood friend and classmate of Marcus Aurelius. Around the year 151 was Fuscianus Suffektkonsul and in the year 188 ordinary consul.

Fuscianus must have been prefect at the time of his second consulate. The beginning of his ministry can not be ascertained. There is a certain probability that he at least since the middle of the year 187, when he was consul designatus, the prefecture has held. As - probably close - predecessor of the later Emperor Pertinax he likely to have remained until the middle of the year 189 in office.
