Publius Servilius Priscus Structus

Publius Servilius Priscus Structus is a figure of the early Roman Republic. He was the first consul of the gens Servilia. He officiated 495 BC by Appius Claudius Sabinus Inregillensis as colleagues. His Cognomina be unanimous, but also partially incomplete handed.

The official year of Servilius and Claudius fell into a troubled time in which the secessio plebis prepared. The historian Livy does Claudius occur as a conservative representative of the upper class, Servilius he is against it as an intermediary dar. This assessment, however, is to be regarded as an invention because no contemporary record of the two consuls exist. The historian Dionysius of Halicarnassus reports on a triumph of Servilius after a victory over the Volscians, which is also fictional.

Publius Servilius Priscus Structus is regarded as the father of the later consul Servilius Priscus Spurius and as consul Publius Servilius grandfather of the later Priscus.
