Puebla

The Mexican state of Puebla is located just east of the twin volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl. It is bordered to the south by Guerrero and Oaxaca to the east and north of Vera Cruz and to the west by Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, México (State) and Morelos. It has an area of 33,902 km ² and about 5.4 million inhabitants. The capital city is Puebla.

In the city of Cholula is the Great Pyramid of Cholula ( Tlachihualtepetl ), which according to the volume of 4.45 million cubic meters, the largest pyramid in the world is ( base 425 times 425 m, height 66 m).
