Puerto Rico at the 1956 Summer Olympics

Puerto Rico participated in the Olympic Summer Games 1956 in Melbourne, Australia with a delegation of ten athletes (all men) in nine competitions in two sports part. There were no medals to be won. The youngest athlete was the pole vaulter Rolando Cruz (17 years and 69 days), the oldest athlete was the sprinter Francisco Rivera (28 years and 267 days). It was the third participation of the country in the Olympic Summer Games. Standard-bearer was Daniel Cintrón.
