The Pulitzer Prize for Beat Reporting ( Pulitzer Prize for Beat Reporting ) was awarded from 1991 to 2006. From 1985 to 1990 was called the category Pulitzer Prize for Specialized Reporting. Since 2007, this award ( Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting ) was no longer awarded in favor of the Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting.
