The pullulanase (also pullulan 6- glucanohydrolase ) is a bacterial enzyme, which is synthesized and expressed, inter alia, Klebsiella and extracellular degradation of plant polysaccharide pullulan allowed. Such enzymes are also called exo-enzymes. The monomers are then absorbed by the bacteria.
