Pulow is a district of the city Lassan in the middle of the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern.

The previously separate municipality Pulow was amalgamated with the hamlets of small Jasedow, Pape Village, Waschow and Pulow on 7 June 2009 by Lassan.

Geography and transport

The former municipality of Pulow with the four villages Pulow, Pape Village, Klein Jasedow and Waschow is located north of the municipal territory of Lassan. North of the former municipality of the B 111 runs in the east, the municipality bordering on the river Peene.

History

On July 25, 1291 Pulow is first mentioned. The place name is of Slavic origin Pulow. Pulow changed over the centuries hands several times since it was not very productive no family estate of a noble family, also the floors of the estate.

Until 31 December 2004, the municipality Pulow belonged administratively to the former Office Ziethenstraße. The municipality was incorporated with the municipal election held on 7 June 2009, the city Lassan.
