Pulp (Band)

Pulp are an English Britpop band that was founded in Sheffield in 1978 by Jarvis Cocker (vocals, guitar ) under the name " Arabicus Pulp ".

Band History

Shortly after founding the band their name was shortened to "Pulp ". After the release of Freaks and internal turmoil the band had a stable line-up against 1987. Jarvis Cocker moved to London in 1988 and began to study film at St. Martin 's College. With " separation " was another plate at this time, but this was not published until 1992.
