The Pumari Chhish, also called Pumarikish or Peak 11, is a 7492 meter high mountain of Muztagh Hispar in the Karakoram. The mountain is located about 4 km east of Kunyang Chhish, the second highest mountain of Muztagh Hispar. In the south and east it is from the western or northern Yutmaru Glacier, framed. In the north it borders on the high plateau of the upper Yazghil glacier. Northeastern neighbors are Yutmaru Sar, with the Pumari Chhish is connected over a ridge, and behind Yukshin Gardan Sar and Sar Kanjut. To the northwest lies beyond the Yazghil glacier of Distaghil Sar.

Pumari - Chhish main summit

The Pumari Chhish was first taken by Australian climbers in attack in 1974, but failed during ascent through the Yazghil Glacier in the north of the mountain. 1979 climbed a Japanese group of climbers with S. Chiba, K. Minami, M. Ohashi and H. Yokoyama of Hokkaido Alpine Association 's main peak on the long route from Khunyang Glacier in the west. They had first to overcome the mountain pass to Yazghil Glacier, to successfully complete the ascent via the north ridge of Pumari Chhish. Pumari - Chhish - South Summit

About 1 km south-east of the main summit of Pumari Chhish is the 7297 meter high Pumari Chhish South East, a side peak with a saddle height of 197 meters. Other sources - including the first ascent - describe him as Pumari Chhish South and recorded the height of 7350 meters. After two unsuccessful attempts ascent in 1999 and 2000 by Julie -Ann Clyma and Roger Payne were on 12 June 2007 Yannick Graziani and Christian Trommsdorff successful. They managed this climb, even though it was her first mountain peaks over 7,000 meters.
