Pumas Morelos

Pumas Morelos is a Mexican football club based in Cuernavaca, the capital of the state of Morelos. He is playing in the second division branch of the UNAM Pumas team.

History

The Pumas Morelos was created in June 2006, when the second team of Delfines de Coatzacoalcos end of the season 2005/ 06 the rise of the Segunda División managed and moved its headquarters to Cuernavaca and renamed accordingly to launch permissions for the La Liga 'A' to receive.

The Pumas Morelos play since the 2006/07 season in the second division of Mexico, who was called up to the 2008/09 season as La Liga 'A' and since the 2009/10 season is named the Liga de Ascenso.

In the previous eight seasons ( in Mexico will be a season two tournaments, the Apertura and Clausura a discharged ) succeeded the Pumas Morelos three times the qualifications for the designated as Liguillas championship final. Both in their first participation in the Clausura 2007 ( 2:3 and 1:1 against Puebla ) and their last date in the Clausura 2010, which the official name Torneo Bicentenario 2010 will (0:0 and 1:2 against La Piedad ) Cougars failed in the quarterfinals.

Your best season so far was the Apertura 2008. Here the Pumas with 35 points were the best team in the point round and could advance to the semifinals, where they then failed twice with 0:1 against Irapuato.
