The Punchbowl Crater is an extinct volcano on the island of Oahu ( Hawaii). The Hawaiian name of the crater Pūowaina means hill of depositing and refers to human sacrifice.
With nearly seven million visitors per year of Punchbowl Crater is the most visited tourist attractions in Hawaii.
In the extinct crater above downtown Honolulu is the National Memorial of the Pacific - the largest military cemetery in Hawaii, have their final resting place on the nearly 37,000 American soldiers.
