Purbeck District
Purbeck is a District in the county of Dorset in England, which is named after the Isle of Purbeck Peninsula. Council is based in Wareham.
The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Municipal Borough Wareham, of Swanage Urban District and Rural District of Wareham and Purbeck.
