Puriel

Puriel (also Pyriel, Puruel or Pusiel ) is an angel, which occurs only in the Apocryphal Testament of Abraham as Archangel, where he is described as relentless and fiery. Together with Dokiel he is one of the two angels who test the souls of the sky comers.

The name Puriel is either a hybrid of Greek πῦρ ( pyr ) = fire and Hebrew אל (el ) = God interpreted, or alternatively - with respect to the first part of the name - of פרענות ( Pur'anut ) = misfortune, disaster.

He was known primarily for the film The Prophecy 3 with Christopher Walken in the lead role, where Puriel - here written alternatively Pyriel - is referred to as the angel of the genocide that will make people wipe out and is seen by the apostate angels as their Messiah.
