Pushing hands

Tui Shou (Chinese推 手, Pinyin TUI shǒu, pushing hands '), or also English Pushing hands, means a partner exercise in the internal martial arts such as Taijiquan.

In this case, the partners are facing and touching each other on the arms and hands. In a continuous motion loop exerts a pressure on the practitioners' arms of the other practitioner who is trying to give in to pressure and neutralize to then exert pressure themselves.

In Tuishou you learn to implement the developed by practicing the principles of form also in contact with a partner, it trains the perception and a firm footing

Outdoor Tuishou that no longer follows a prescribed sequence, but where each movement of the form should be used, the practitioner can demonstrate how they have internalized the principles of Taijiquan.

The practice is regarded as a preliminary exercise for the application of martial arts and trains both the perception and the technology.

The exercise is similar to the Adhesive poor, even Sticky Hands ( Chi Sao ), the Wing Chun or the bridge hands ( Kiu Sao ) of Weng Chun Kung Fu.
