Půta III of Častolovice

Puta, the younger of Častolowitz ( first name also: Puota, Puotha; surname also: Czastolowitz; Tschastolowitz; Czech: Půta Mladší z Častolovic, † 1434 in Bratislava ) was descended from the noble family Častolowitz. At first he was governor and later Lord pledge of Glatz, Frankenstein and Münsterberg.

Background and Career

His parents were Puta Elder. of Častolowitz and Anna († 1440/54 ), a daughter of Duke John II of Cieszyn Auschwitz. Like his father, he had next to Častolowitz more possessions in Bohemia.
