Phillips-Van Heusen (PVH ) is a clothing company based in New York City, USA. At PVH offer are the Calvin Klein Corporation, Van Heusen, Izod, Arrow and GH Bass. The total turnover of Phillips-Van Heusen totaled 5.9 billion U.S. dollars in 2011. Around 52 % of its revenue, the company Tommy Hilfiger, 30 % and 18% Heritage Brands Calvin Klein.

History

The shoemaker George Henry Bass bought in 1876 in a shoe factory, a, is in fact the sole owner and gives the company its name. In 1987, G. H. Bass & Co. acquired by PVH. 1995 PVH acquires the knitwear manufacturer Izod, 2000, license to manufacture of shirts for Van Heusen and Kenneth Cole. 2003 assumes PVH Calvin Klein and 2008 Timberland.

In 2010 the company took over the Tommy Hilfiger Corporation for approximately 2.2 billion euros from the investment company Apax Partners. 2013 took over PVH the New York-based Warnaco Group with a turnover of approximately 2.5 billion U.S. dollars.

In addition, PVH has the licenses for many other brands. PVH employs over 10,000 people.
