PW-5
PZL PW- 5 " Smyk " is a single-seat glider in plastic construction of the Polish manufacturer PZL- SWIDNIK SA - Polish Aviation Works.
It was validated by the FAI to the glider is flown in the world - class. Selection criteria included a simpler and more secure design and good flight characteristics ( however, there are gliders with a twice as high glide ratio ). Important was, rather, that the aircraft is cheap, so it can be used in clubs and for training.
It is distinguished visually by its relatively short faces and the right raised tail. The service is very pleasant and therefore the aircraft can also be used for training. The services are more in the area of Holz-/Gemischtbauweise.
