Below the mouth of the Pura ( Пура ) breaks through the Pjassina here only to 200 m high south-western spurs of the Byrrangagebirges in a northerly direction to eventually empty into the Pjassinabusen the Kara Sea.
East of ästuarähnlichen, in estuary near 3 km wide and 10 km deep main arm, the Pjassina forms a delta. At low tide, the tide is felt to Tarejamündung ( about 300 km above the Pjassinamündung ).
