Pyotr Ivanovich Poletika

Pyotr Ivanovich Poletika (Russian Пётр Иванович Полетика; * 1778, † 1849) was a Russian ambassador.

Life

Poletika enjoyed an aristocratic education, held various diplomatic posts and was a senator. In the diary of a receding Pawel Diwow is reported that Poletika Alexander told I. rumors from St Petersburg and of the court and so was I. influence on Alexander.

Poletika was the author of memoirs which was published posthumously in 1885.
