Pyotr Shilovsky

Pyotr Petrovich Shilovsky (Russian Пётр Петрович Шиловский; * 1871, † after 1924 ) was a Russian count, jurist, politician and inventor. He was governor of Kostroma (1910-1912) and of the province of Olonets ( 1912-1913 ). He became known as the inventor of a two-wheeled self-balancing car which he completed in November 1913. After the October Revolution he emigrated to England, married, had three daughters and worked in Dulwich for the Sperry Corporation.
