Pyrrha

In Greek mythology, Pyrrha (Greek Πύρρα ), the daughter of Epimetheus and Pandora and wife of Deucalion.

When Zeus decided to finish the Golden Age with the great Deukalischen flood, Deucalion and Pyrrha were the only survivors, because Prometheus had his son Deucalion ordered in time to build a ship.

After the tide had run out and landed the couple on Parnassus, Deucalion consulted the oracle of Themis, what to do in order to populate the earth again. She told him to throw his mother's bones over his shoulders. After some hesitation on account of such sacrilege Pyrrha guessed that with the "mother" of the Gaia, the Earth, are meant as Aller mother and with the bones stones. So they threw stones over their shoulders, from which at Pyrrha women and men were Deucalion.

Pyrrha and Deucalion had at least five children, Protogeneia, Hellen ( the progenitor of the " Hellenes ", ie the Greeks ), Graikos, Thyia and Orestheus and possibly a sixth, Amphictyon.
