Q-Sound

Q- Sound is a surround sound system the Canadian company Q- Sound Labs. The procedure was developed in the 1980s and first marketed.

The system offers the possibility to create a 3D sound effect for normal stereo recordings: The listener has the impression that noise coming from the front or rear of the listener.

Prominent users of this method include Sting and Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters, who likened the sound method of audio technology - development of mono to stereo sound.
