Today's Hazara, an ethnic group (partly ) of Mongolian origin, be regarded as their descendants.

The Qara'unas are often mentioned in the same breath with the Nikudarian, leaderless Mongolian troops of unknown origin, which also operated in the 13th century as bandits and partly cooperated with the Qara'unas.
