Qasr Abu Hadi

Qasr Abu Hadi is a 15 km south -lying suburb of Sirte in Libya. The place is considered the birthplace Muammar al- Gaddafi. In 2011 there lived almost 5,000 inhabitants. According to the census of 2006, there were 4890 inhabitants.

The airport of the city of Sirte, Gardabya, is only about two kilometers west of Qasr Abu Hadi.

On October 3 In 2011, during the civil war in Libya units of the Libyan National Liberation Army Qasr Abu Hadi, after three days of fighting one. In the battles Grad rockets launchers and snipers were deployed and the water, medicines and power collapsed.
