Qassiarsuk

Qassiarsuk is a small sheep farmer settlement 40 km north-northeast of Narsaq in southern Greenland. On the opposite bank of the Tunulliarfik (Erik fjord ) is Narsarsuaq.

Qassiarsuk exists since 1924 and today has 47 inhabitants ( 2012) living on sheep farming and, increasingly, tourism. Until 1 January 2009, the settlement belonged politically to the municipality Narsaq, since the municipality Kujalleq.
