Qi Baoxiang

Qi Baoxiang (c. 1961) is a Chinese table tennis player who won the 1980 title at the Asian Championships and World Championships.

Career

Qi Baoxiang was formed in a table tennis boarding school in Baoding. It was 1980 Asian champion in singles and with the Chinese team in doubles and in mixed doubles, she reached the semi-finals. 1981, 1983 and 1985 she was nominated for the World Cup. They won three bronze, namely 1983 and 1985 in single and 1985 double with Tong Ling 1981, she was with the Chinese team world champion.

In the ITTF World Ranking Qi Baoxiang was out in third place in early 1981. After 1985, they no longer appeared internationally in appearance.

After the end of their careers Qi Baoxiang worked as a Chinese national coach.

Private

Qi Baoxiang has an older sister named Qi Baohua, who played in the 1990s for Hong Kong.
