Qitaihe
Qitaihe (七台河 市) is a prefecture -level city in China's Heilongjiang Province, which belongs to Northeast China.
In Qitaihe there are coal mining, and a steam railway. Another coal- mining town in the province is Hegang.
The administrative area of the city Qitaihe has an area of 6223 km ² and about 870,000 inhabitants (2003 ).
Administrative Divisions
At county level, Qitaihe is made up of three districts and one county. These are:
- Municipality Taoshan (桃 山区), 74 km ², 160,000 inhabitants;
- City Xinxing District (新兴 区), 123 km ², 200,000 inhabitants;
- Municipality Qiezihe (茄子 河 区), 1560 km ², 140,000 inhabitants;
- Boli County (勃利县), 4466 km ², 370,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Boli (勃利 镇).
