Qizilqum Zarafshon

Qizilqum Zarafshan is a football club from the Uzbek city of Zarafshan. The club currently plays in the top division of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek professional football league. Play their home games out of the club in Progress Stadium. The club was founded in 1994 as Progress Zarafshan. 1999, the club was relegated for the first time on in the first league. Until the 2008 season, the club had never to do with the descent and was located mostly in the middle of the table. The best placement of the association was the third place in 2002. With a 14th place in 2008 they reached their worst position since the rise.
