Qu Xiao-Song

Qu Xiao- song (also Qu Xiaosong ) (* 1952 in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, Southwest China ) is a Chinese composer. The evocative music is a synthesis of nature and culture, but also a fusion from West and Far East.

Life

Qu Xiao-song was 14 years old when the Cultural Revolution broke out in China. He had to work as agricultural laborers for farmers in remote million four years.
