Quaker Peace and Social Witness

The organization of Quaker Peace and Social Witness ( QPSW ) is a Quäkerorganisation in the UK, which was founded in 1927 as the Friends Foreign Mission Association as a merger of the Friends Foreign Mission Association ( 1868-1927 ) and the Council for International Service ( 1919-1927 ). From 1979 it was called Quaker Peace and Service and since 2001 she has been working under the present name.

The organization seeks to coordinate international peace work and other social functions. She is also a central committee of Britain Yearly Meeting. 1947 the QPSW was awarded jointly with the American American Friends Service Committee ( AFSC ), representative of the tireless efforts of various organized and other Quakers, the Nobel Peace Prize.
