Quantico is a village in the U.S. state of Virginia in Prince William County. The population of approximately 23 miles NNE of Fredericksburg situated village, which has an area of 0.2 km ², is, according to the 2000 census, 561 people. The place is also known by the same U.S. Marine Corps Base Quantico and located on the grounds FBI Academy. 1942 opened here the Office of the Coordinator of Information, a school for Subversion.

The place itself is enclosed on three sides by the barracks and on the east by the Potomac River and is only accessible via the military area or over the water; a bridge over the river there is not.
