Quantock Hills

Quantock Hills is a mountain range in southwestern English county of Somerset. He joins east to the Exmoor National Park and extends north of the city of Taunton in a northwesterly direction to the Bristol Channel. The highest point is 365 m, the so-called Will's Neck. The rolling hills are covered with the typical English, bordered by hedges meadows. On the slopes to the often deep valleys, in which lively streams then splash, grow deciduous forests. The only sparsely populated and classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty area is considered a landscape of extraordinary natural beauty that invites the visitors for hiking.
