The song Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) was written in 1956 by Ray Evans and Jay Livingston for the film The Man Who Knew Too Much by Alfred Hitchcock. It was sung in the film by Doris Day in 1957 and received an Academy Award for Best Song. In the UK it reached # 1 on the charts in the U.S., there was a number - two hit and million-seller.

From 1968 to 1973, the song was the theme song of Doris Day Show on U.S. television. Also sung by Doris Day song comes later in the film Spy ago in lace panties.
