Queen Mary Psalter

The so-called Queen Mary Psalter is a 1310 incurred illustrated Psalter, one of the highlights of the High Gothic Illumination of England. Besides the actual miniatures are particularly the 464 autonomous border scenes of importance, representing mainly everyday situations.

Today the manuscript in the British Library in London under the signature Ms. Royal 2 B. VII is preserved.
