Río Queguay

The Río Queguay (also: Queguay Grande) is a river in Uruguay.

As a tributary of the Uruguay River, it flows from its source in the Cuchilla de Queguay by the Departamento Paysandú before it empties into the East-West direction after 280 km in him. Its catchment area covers an area of ​​7866 km ². The main tributaries are the Rio Chico Queguay and streams Soto Grande and quebracho.

At Río Queguay there are limestone deposits.
