Quiberville

Quiberville is a commune in the French département of Seine -Maritime in the Haute -Normandie region at the Alabaster Coast in Dieppe arrondissement. The village has 549 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Geography

Quiberville has a long pebble beach at the end of rising chalk cliffs. Between Quiberville and Sainte -Marguerite- sur -Mer, the Saâne empties into the English Channel. The village is located about 20 kilometers west of Dieppe.

Reminiscence

As a reminder of the place of the British composer Paul Patterson created in 1986 a musical work entitled Memories of Quiberville.
