Quíbor

Quibor is a city in the state of Lara in Venezuela, and also the capital of the district ( municipality ) Jiménez.

The region was settled close to the arrival of Europeans. The Welser visited Quibor beginning of the 16th century at several of their expeditions. Today the town is predominantly a center for agriculture in the region.
