The Quicken Loans 400 is a race in the NASCAR Sprint Cup and the first of two on the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. It covers a distance of 400 miles ( 643,737 km ).

History

For the first time the race was run in 1969, it was called the Motor State 500 from 1970 to 1975 it was called Motor State 400, except to the oil crisis shortened Motor State 360 in 1974. According changing names and sponsors under which the Miller Brewing Company law remained faithful (1984-1998) was the race in 2005 the name of Batman Begins 400 on February 19, 2006 announced 3M that they have signed a three year contract for the naming rights of the race. After the race in 2006 3M Performance 400 presented by Post-It was called Picture Paper, 3M was the start of the 2007 season sponsorship, however, to the other races in Michigan, which was 3M Performance 400 and this race in 2007 Citizens Bank 400 called. After LifeLock 400 (2008/2009) and Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 (2010/2011) states that since 2012 Quicken Loans 400
