Quicken

Quicken is a computer program of the U.S. firm Intuit for net income method and home banking. It is marketed in Germany by Lexware.

Quicken was in competition with the Microsoft Money program and StarMoney. The first version of Quicken was developed in 1984 by American software company Intuit. In 1993, the German subsidiary, Intuit Germany GmbH, founded by Dieter New Year; half a year later, the first German -language version of Quicken. Since the 2000 version, the German version was further developed by Haufe- Lexware group.

The current latest version is Quicken 2014 ( Version 21 ) (April 2013).

Functions

According to the manufacturer the following functions are integrated into the program:

  • Financial overview ( current accounts, asset accounts, credit cards, securities accounts, invoice accounts, etc.)
  • Transfer, Forward transfer, BZÜ transfer, donations Transfer, SEPA credit transfers, direct debits and much more.
  • Evaluation functions, financial planners, liquidity forecast ...
  • Account access via HBCI and via the web interface of the bank.
