Quinto Vicentino

Quinto Vicentino is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5766 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Vicenza in the Veneto region. The community is located about 6.5 kilometers northeast of Vicenza and directly borders the province of Padua. By Quinto Vicentino flows the Tesina.

History

Between 1545 and 1546 Andrea Palladio erected here the Villa Thiene.

Until 1867, the community was simply called Quinto.

Traffic

Through the village leads the Autostrada 31 and State Road 53 Postumia.
