Quintus Antistius Labeo

Pacuvius Antistius Labeo ( possibly Quintus ) was a Roman jurist of the gene of the anti animal. He was a pupil of Servius Sulpicius Rufus. Brutus was able to win it in 44 BC for the assassination of Caesar. In 42 BC he was legate in the army of Caesar's assassins. After their defeat against Mark Antony and Octavian at the Battle of Philippi, he did not live longer than Brutus, who, as he was told, had called in death with a sigh his name. Therefore he raised in his tent from a grave and let themselves be killed by a slave who buried him in his tent.

His son Marcus Antistius Labeo († 10/11 AD) was a famous Roman jurist.
