Quintus Sosius Senecio

Quintus Sosius Senecio († 110 AD) was a politician and general of the Roman Empire.

Senecio was a friend of the future Emperor Hadrian, the younger Pliny and Plutarch, he had learned to identify as proconsul of Achaia and dedicated his Parallelviten. He was with a daughter of the senator and writer Frontinus, Iulia Frontina, married and served as a general under Emperor Trajan. 99 he held together with Aulus Cornelius Palma Frontonianus the ordinary consulate, 105/106, he fought well in Trajan's second Dakerkrieg and received the ornamenta triumphalia. 107 he was with Lucius Licinius Sura, a close friend of the Emperor, for the second time consul. His daughter Sosia Polla married the influential general and politician Quintus Pompeius Falco.
