R. J. Ellory

RJ Ellory - Roger Jon Ellory actually - ( born June 1965 in Birmingham ) is an English thriller writer.

Life

Ellory grew up since the age of seven on an orphan and spent his childhood and youth in various institutions and schools. A Graphic Design degree, he broke off after a year and started at the age of 22, writing novels, of which were rejected over twenty on the grounds that American novels of English writer not sold. 2003 was finally laid with Candlemoth his first novel, the annual additional followed, many of which have been translated into various languages.

Ellory came in September 2012 in the headlines because he had to admit positive reviews of his own novels and negative reviews of books of other authors living under pseudonyms, to have placed eg Nicodemus Jones on the Amazon website.

R. J. Ellory lives in Birmingham.
