R.O.C. de Charleroi-Marchienne

The Royal Olympic Club de Charleroi -Marchienne is a Belgian football club from the city of Charleroi in the province of Hainaut.

History

The club was founded on 20 September 1911 as Olympic Club Caroloregian Lodelinsart. In 1937 it was renamed the Royal Olympic Club Charleroi. Between 1972 and 1982, was named the club R.O.C. de Montignies -sur -Sambre. Since the merger of the Royal Olympic Club Royal Association Marchienne in 2000, the club bears its present name.

The ROC was 1937-1963 with the exception of the 1955/56 season of the highest Belgian league. Best place was the runner-up in 1947. During the years 1967 and 1974, the club made ​​the comeback, but were relegated after just one game each time.
