R.S. Ginnastica Torino
The Reale Società Ginnastica Torino is a sports association, which was founded on March 17, 1844 in Turin by the Zurich Rudolf Oberman. Oberman was appointed by Carlo Alberto di Savoia in Turin to bring here the students of the Military Academy, the gym closer. The Società Ginnastica Torino was the first gymnastics club at all in Italy. Starting in 1933, the association is allowed, with the permission of Victor Emmanuel III. Ginnastica Torino was an Italian football club from the city of Turin ( Piedmont ). The club was founded in 1897. The colors of the team were initially red and blue, later when participating in the Italian championship then burgundy and white.
1897, the football department of Ginnastica Torino was founded. A year later, Reale Società took Ginnastica Torino at the first staging of the Italian football championship ( Serie A ) part. Here you failed in the semi-final on eventual champions Genoa in 1893.
Ginnastica Torino participated in the first four Serie A championships. Here were no outstanding results recorded. Also for the championship in 1902 wrote one up but they gave in all parts forfaitaires.
